LameXP v4.11 Final Portable / 4.12 Beta 2015-07-26

LameXP is a graphical user interface (front-end) for different audio codecs: You can convert your audio files from one audio format to another in the most simple way. Despite its name, LameXP not just a front-end for the LAME encoder, but is compatible with a wide range of output formats, including MP3, Ogg Vorbis, AAC / MP4, FLAC, and AC-3 sound wave. The number of supported input formats is even greater! Furthermore LameXP works not only on Windows XP, but also Windows Vista, Windows 7, and many other operating systems.

Like all encoders and decoders used by LameXP and (with one exception) "incorporated", you should not install additional software, such as "filters" "codecs" or "plug-ins" on your computer. Everything works "out of the box"! You can also use LameXP as an application of "portable", for example, run it from your USB drive. Furthermore LameXP is designed for batch processing. This means that you can convert a lot of files, such as an entire album or even your entire music collection in one step. And as LameXP can process multiple files in parallel, using modern multi-core processors! But LameXP not only optimized for speed, but also provides excellent sound quality using the most advanced encoder available and give the user complete control over all the encoding parameters.

More LameXP full support for metadata, including album art. So when you convert audio files, LameXP retain existing meta tags. But it's also easy to use editor to add or edit metadata. LameXP supports Unicode for both meta tags and filenames, so there will be no problems with the characters "strange". And thank you to our translators, the user interface LameXP is available in several languages. Last but not least, LameXP supports a number of post-processing filters, including sample rate conversion, normalization (gain), tone control and multi-channel hardware mixer.
